The listening task for this thing is further indication that I am a visual learner. I regularly use screencasts and attend webinars. After a minute of listening to the interview podcasts I was clicking around on other websites and documents and so lost concentration on the content. I then tried the serial podcast but didn’t really listen to it until I played it while driving home – as I sometimes listen to books on CD. The style is different but I am going to listen to episode 2 this evening.
Screencasting is better for my work because I am showing students how to do something online or how to reference etc. so the visual aspect is very important.
